Hi and welcome to my website… I'm Carol White, a Professional Artist and experienced Art Tutor living in East Boldon, North East of England.
Firstly, I'd like to say Thank-You to all those who took part in my painting activities or bought paintings during 2007 and secondly I wish everyone a Happy & Healthy 2008!
I'm a Qualified & experienced F.E. Tutor, a Professional Associate to the Society of all Artists, -Tutor for The Federation of Northern Art Societies and The Open College of Art. I am also a member of The Network of Artists in Northumberland.
I teach Painting Classes locally around the borough of South Tyneside. Hold regular Full-day Painting Workshops at the Charles Evans school of Art (Acklington) & The Fi-Fie-Fo-Fum Gallery (Corbridge) both are in rural, but easily accessible, areas of Northumberland. My aim is to make learning to paint FUN. My workshops are informal but informative and cater for all abilities.
I travel to Art Clubs/Societies and Community Groups throughout the Northern Counties & Border regions to teach and demonstrate my work. I also accept painting commissions and produce my own collections for exhibition & promotional purposes. (See the 'Commissions' page for details). I work and teach in Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic and the new Interactive Acrylic paints by Chroma.
